Kim Inglis is a freelance television presenter, reporter and journalist working across the UK.
Freelance since 2009, Kim spent fifteen years working for ITV on a wide range of news and non-news programmes. Kim works mainly for ITV but is also hired by the BBC and SKY.
Kim is a well regarded, experienced event, conference and award ceremony host. Based in Cumbria, Kim is MC for a wide range of organisations and charities in Cumbria, the North East and further afield.
As well as working in schools and colleges on projects relating to journalism and the world of television presenting, Kim also presents and provides voiceovers for corporate and commercial ventures and online presentations.
Kim joined Border Television on graduating from Manchester University with a joint honours degree in French and Italian in 1993. She was trained in all aspects of journalism and programme making in Carlisle. In 1995 Kim moved to ITV Tyne Tees in Newcastle where she remained a member of staff until 2008. In that time Kim presented all the station’s various news bulletins and programmes, including the flagship 6 o’ clock programme, North East Tonight, as well as news, current affairs and election specials. Kim is an experienced on screen reporter, often reporting live from the scene of major news stories as well as producing and editing news and feature items.
